Microsoft has released [XNA Game Studio Express 1.0] aiming at small and full time developers to create games for Xbox 360 and Windows based systems. This release of the studio uses new and optimized cross-platform gaming libraries based on .NET. The only limitation at this point is that you can create games only for Windows XP SP-2 based systems.
