HTC launches 1st 4G/WiMAX Android Handset, available from Sprint

It will be the first WiMAX/4G phone that is going to be launched in USA soon and it’s from HTC. The Android powered phone is called HTC EVO 4G and it will be available from Sprint. This cool phone features 4.3 inch touchscreen, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, 8MP camera, FM Radio, 1.3 MP video conf camera, HDMI port, 1 GB ROM, 512 MB RAM, 8GB microSD card. The phone will be on Android 2.0 user interface and 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon Processor.

That’s quite a lot of features packed into one powerful smartphone. This Android powered phone would obviously support numerous Google applications and will offer possibility of customization. If you have plans to buy a smartphone, hold on! In my opinion it would be worthwhile to wait until this phone will start retailing this summer. Meanwhile, I will add it to my wish list of gadgets for its features and it being a WiMAX phone.
