Native 1080p 3LCD home theater projectors from Epson
Epson recently announced the launch of their new native 1080p 3LCD home theater projectors, PowerLite Pro Cinema 9100 and 9500 UB. Priced at $2,599 and sub-$4,000 respectively, these projectors offer state-of-the-art image quality, enhanced color reproduction capabilities with latest 3LCD chips featuring D7 technology for amazing color and detail.
Some of the common features of both these models are 3LCD technology, cinema filter, Fujinon OptiCinema(TM) Multi-Lens Optics System and E-TORL(R) (Epson Twin Optics Reflection Lamp).

Pro cinema 9100 will be available in October while the 9500 UB projector will be available in November and can be purchased through authorized Epson projector dealers and select retail outlets. via press release

Yeah, these things are making waves hey? I really like LCD technology and it’s god to see they can cram one of these little guys with so much resolution. The price is a little higher than I’d want to spend though. Hopefully they will come down in price a bit this year…
