LaCie intros LaCinema Rugged HD multimedia player

LaCinema Rugged HD multimedia playerLaCie announced the release of their latest multimedia drive, the LaCinema Rugged HD. In a nutshell, it’s a USB-powered external hard drive that will output 1080p video to a TV via its built-in HDMI port. LaCinema Rugged HD can store and playback HD movies, music and output of content as 1080p for High Definition media in H.264, MKV, WMV9 and MPEG-4 formats. With its 500GB of built-in storage capacity, LaCinema Rugged HD can store up to 700 movies or 165000 songs which is quite a lot of multimedia storage. The LaCinema Rugged HD is available through the LaCie Online Store at the suggested retail price starting at $349.99USD.
