New iPhone application from Kayak offers flights and hotels search

Kayak, one of the largest travel search site in the world, has announced the launch of their new iPhone application that will allow iPhone users to access, search, compare flights and purchase airfares from hundreds of airlines across the world. iPhone users will be able to search over 200 travel sites for rates and availability of flights and hotels, from anywhere in the world. Once the decision is made, the Kayak iPhone application will let users visit the supplier or travel agency’s website and make the purchase. You no longer will have to worry about visiting a travel agency or other sources to find cheap air flights. And if you are in a hurry, last minute flight tickets can be ordered right from your iPhone going forward.

Kayak.com’s iPhone application also searches for hotel rooms from a database of over 200,000 hotels across the world. The search results can be sorted based on fares and location of the hotel. From now on, you will very easily be able to find cheap hotel rooms with few screen taps and also reserve them.

The application is free of cost to the users and available in the iTunes app store.
