AVerMedia launches USB HDTV Tuner Card for PC and Mac

AVerMedia has launched a new USB 2.0 tv tuner card – AVerTVHD Volar Max for both PC and Mac. This is an external USB 2.0 tv tuner card that enables your PC to receive HD digital tv and unencrypted digital cable signals at upto 1080i resolution. Ability to receive unencrypted digital cable signals means that you will be able to receive all those channels that are broadcasted free over the air. What’s a tuner without tuning capabilities? This USB based device includes a software that supports tuning, closed captions, digital surround sound, tv timeshift and also features personal video recording.
