Mimo USB display adds another monitor without additional video card
Mimo monitors recently announced the launch of their two new products. These are 7″ USB powered displays and the models are Mimo UM710 and Mimo UM 740. These displays are connected to your desktop or laptop using the USB cable and you instantly get an additional monitor.
The overall screen resolution is of 800×480 pixels. It has got a touch screen, has audio in/out ports, integrated webcam and also features microphone that will be helpful for use with VoIP applications. The Mimo monitors allows for adding many screens to your existing computers using the USB cable without having to buy additional video card.
If you are a photoshop user, think of the Mimo screen to use as a holding place for your photoshop palettes while you work on something else in the application. Web application developer could pawn off their application preview screen onto the Mimo screen while continue to work on their existing monitor. Laptop users could find it very useful and add multiple screens without having to buy a graphics card.
