CinemaOne: An all-in-one home theater system from Philips

Philips has announced a home theater system that’s of the size of a small round box measuring 10.75 inches in diameter and 6.75 inches in height. The CinemaOne home theater from Philips features a DVD and CD player, a five channel amp, an iPod dock, six speakers and a sub-woofer – all inside a box.

CinemaOne can process Dolby Digital, DTS, MPEG2 multichannel or stereo sound tracks. It can play video files of almost any file format such as DivX, WMV and MPEG. It also supports almost every type of DVD and CD. A distinguished feature that this product has is that it allows controlling a docked iPod using its remote control and all the track information can be accessed from the TV screen. Other notable features are 1080p HD resolution upscaling, high quality display of jpeg photos, high-speed USB port and MP3 link.
