Pandigital launches HDTV and digital picture combo for kitchens

Pandigital, one of the leaders in digital picture frame products, has launched a new product that combines a HDTV, a digital frame and digital cookbook - Kitchen frame. Ideally such a product would find a place in the living room of your house, this HDTV/Frame combo may suit your kitchen more than any other place in your house.

Why? - Pandigital’s kitchen frame has a digital cookbook. Pre-loaded with cooking recipes, this kitchen frame does away with referring Internet for recipes and taking print outs of your favorite recipes from computer. Just load your favorite recipes in this kitchen frame and refer to them whenever you want to. Not just recipes, the high definition TV, HD-ready, lets you watch your favorite cooking shows and other TV programs in the kitchen itself.

Pandigital’s kitchen frame features a 1280×720 resolution screen with an NTSC tuner, S-Video and HDMI inputs. The built-in 512MB of internal memory can take in your pictures, MP3 files and support both audio and video playback. It also has memory card slots, calendar and clock functions.

The frame is sealed with glass that offers defend against kitchen spills and offers interchangeable faceplates. Pandigital’s kitchen frame will be available at $400 in August.
