ESCORT launches Portable Radar and Laser Detector with GPS Intelligence

ESCORT has launched the next generation of its GPS powered speed and location intelligence radar and laser detector product called Passport 9500ix, with technology so simple to use that customers can just plug it in and drive.

The Passport 9500ix has a pre-loaded databases that contains speed cameras locations of thousands of safety cameras in its memory. As soon as the vehicle equipped with this product approaches any of the locations that has a safety camera, the product provides a warning in advance along with the information on the type of camera in use in that location.

The new Passport 9500ix has a new safety camera database and artificial intelligence to automatically eliminate false alarms. ESCORT will provide database and firmware updates to its customers through their website. A customer can connect his detector to their computer using a USB cable and download the location updates and firmware to the detector. It can detect thousands of speed cameras, speed trap and red light cameras locations.
