Associated Press now on your iPhone and iPod Touch

The Associated Press have launched their Mobile News Network, for the newer generation of mobile phones such as iPhone and iPod Touch, but looks more like as if it’s specifically launched for the iPhone users.

The new mobile news service from AP will bring in news to your mobile phones from more than its 100 member newspaper sources. The service will deliver local news from member newspapers and national and international news from AP. They seems to have consulted Apple to see their guidance on how to tailor the service to the iPhone.
