Samsung develops world’s fastest 256GB solid state drive
Samsung, in fifth annual Samsung Mobile Solution Forum in Taiwan, has announced that it has developed a 2.5-inch, 256 GB multi-level cell (MLC) based solid state drive (SSD) using SATA II interface and claims it to be the world’s fastest SSD yet.
Once released in market, this solid state drive will change a lot of things. For instance, the laptop manufacturers will be the early adopters of this SSD drive who had earlier resisted using these drives due to its size.
