iPhone + Email = iPhone 2.0 for the business
In a recent news released by Apple, the company plans to incorporate features in iPhone to attract the business users. The key feature that will be of interest to the business users is the addition of support for Microsoft Exchange server. But will that move really entice business users who are already used to Blackberry and other business mobile devices?
iPhone was initially designed to be an excellent phone and also to be the best handheld audio and video player while the other mobile devices such as BlackBerrys, Palm Treos, and Windows Mobile handhelds have been designed specifically for the business users. These devices have already undergone tons of changes since their introduction to meet the ever growing requirements of the business and corporate users.

Apple’s roadmap for the iPhone and its plan to add features for business users and developers has to go through a very tough fight before it will finally start appealing to the corporate users. Business users may be least interested in an iPhone that’s more of an audio/video player and less of a business handheld device. But then it’s Apple and anything can happen! Let’s wait and watch.
