One Week Review of TNX.net
This is a follow-up post on my earlier review of TNX.net. I have done a thorough trial of TNX.net and their concept of buying and placing text links on websites and here are some observation that might be of an interest to you.
Registration process is simple - Their review systems seems to be an easy one with very minor requirements, they seem to let in almost anyone. While this is good for many, it’s equally bad for publishers. Why? - When my website was listed, within few days it started showing many sold link units. When I reviewed the individual links, I realized that many of them were pointing to a page full of affiliate links. They seems to have no quality guidelines in place. As a result, so far, I have deleted all the links that were sold on my site and its pages. I don’t want a link about music album on my page about Casio.
English Vs Non-English content - Somehow the links at the bottom of their website tend to take me to Russian language content pages. I have to login back from home page to see the English language content pages. Also, most of the English content seems to have been written by a person whose primary language is not English. This sometimes is an issue when support is sought by looking at their FAQ pages.
Buying links is very easy - Creating a site campaign and buying links is much easier than I initially thought. But there is a problem with their link placement system. My first point about their website review system is very much applicable here. I see that most of the sites are not at all relevant with my site’s category that I had selected at the time of entering the site details. If you are considering TNX.net for buying links, make sure that you review the website and pages where your links will be placed.
No way to edit your site’s information - I failed to find a way to edit my site’s information as I wanted to change my site’s category. Their system still needs lot of improvement before people will find it easy to use. If you know how to change your site’s info, please let me know.
I will continue to evaluate TNX.net and keep you updated with my observations. If you want to give them a try, click here!
