I just got a G’zOne last week from Verizon, after burning out two LG Chocolates and one LG enV in a 2-week period (perhaps being struck by lightning about a month ago had something to do with that?). I really thought Verizon was going to fire us, but they’ve been great. I love this phone! And I haven’t burned it out yet either! It’s a little different than the one you have pictured, though. Mine is NOT Bluetooth compatible. It comes with a headset adapter so I can use my old plug-in headset. The camera is a lot better than the one listed in your specs. It’s a 2.0 megapixel with 3X zoom when set on 960 x 1280 resolution. When kicked up to 1200 x 1600 resolution, the zoom is inoperative. It’s quite a bit heavier than the Chocolate or my old Samsung, but in a way that’s comforting cuz I feel like it’ll be able to withstand the inevitable bumps and jars. And it’s still working!!! Great phone, and Verizon just dropped the price on it so that sweetened the deal. I just happened upon this site cuz I’ve been talking about 2 1/2 hours today and got a low battery warning. This site came up when I did a search on “talk time” to see if it was draining too quickly. Seems about right according to your specs. Has anyone ever downloaded ringtones from Verizon? I’m debating whether to do that, but I’m OK with the ring tone selection that came with the phone (nothing great, but nothing terribly objectionable). Thanks for your review!

Looking for a headset with fishtale adapter for the GZ-one.
Do you have any leads to where I might be able to buy two?
The Verizon dealer told me they do not make them anymore.
    Is this true?
    Looking forward to your reply.
    Sincerely,
    Joan Cass

Joan, I haven’t heard they don’t make them any more — I bought a second one at the Verizon store here about 9 months ago. Check out this link on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.com/OEM-UTStarcom-GzOne-Type-V-Type-S-GZ1-Headset-Adapter_W0QQitemZ320262878733QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item320262878733&_trkparms=72%3A552%7C39%3A1%7C65%3A12&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

Wow when I look at that, it seems pretty long. If it doesn’t work, try a search on eBay for “G’zOne Type-V Type-S GZ1 Headset Adapter” (you need to put it in as G’zone rather than Gzone or it won’t come up). This looks like the one I got. I can plug my old headset into the round end and use a number of old headsets. I’m not sure if that’s what you’re looking for, but the price is right! Good luck!
