How To: Run Internet Explorer on Linux
Yes, this post will show you a small tool/script that will let you run IE on Linux machines. The script is called IEs4Linux and can run IE 5/5.5/6 and IE 7 in beta mode on a linux system (or any OS running Wine).
This is very helpful for those individuals who want to test their applications on different browsers and also for those who run IE specific applications or work on websites that are functional only in IE. Thankfully, the size of IE that you install using IEs4Linux is comparatively smaller as it does not come along with outlook and media player or other add-on components. There is one catch though, you may not be able to use this free software if you do not have a valid EULA for an “OS Product” from Microsoft.
