Edit Metadata of Photos Easily with Microsoft Photo Info

A new software add-on from Microsoft called Photo Info enables you to edit the common “metadata” information of digital photos from within the Windows Explorer. Microsoft Photo Info supports most of the common IPTC (International Press Telecommunications Council) properties and the current release of this add on runs on XP SP2 and Vista only.

Post installation, you will notice a new context menu entry, “Photo Info”, in Windows Explorer. Select one of more photos, select “Photo Info” from Context Menu, edit the meta data information and click Apply to save the changes.

» Supported File Formats

The current release of Photo Info supports JPEG, TIFF, WDP, HDP (HD Photo), NEF, CR2, and CRW file formats. Support for more file formats will be added in future releases.
