Google Launched Patent Search
With over 7 million patents to search from, the site makes it very easy to search through filed patents. People who will love this kind of service from Google would be mostly lawyers, architects and companies who make products.
Each search for patents would result in a page with result representing an individual patent. The title of the search result is the actual title of the patent. Just beneath that, you will see the patent number that was awarded, and on right the year in which the patent was filed is displayed.
Clicking on a search result will open a page dedicated to an individual patent and shows the following information about a patent - Patent summary, Claims, Referenced by, Search within this patent, Citations and Drawings.
Some of the patents worth taking a look are:
Computer - [computers related patents], filed in 1982
Voice Interface for a search engine which was filed by Google -
[Voice Interface for search engine], filed in 2001
The Google Patent search page displays random patents on every visit, and that way you can see plenty of patents over time.
