Google Blog Search Pinging Service

Did you know that you can now ping Google blogsearch from your WordPress and many other blogging softwares to keep Google updated about changes that you make in your blogs?

For blogs with XML-RPC ping support

If your blogging software (WordPress does! ;-)) supports XML-RPC based pinging, then use the following URL in your software for automatic pinging to Google blogsearch.

RPC endpoint: http://blogsearch.google.com/ping/RPC2 (Copy paste this URL in appropriate location inside your blogging admin section)

For blogs without ping support

Just in case your blogging software does not support such automatic pinging mechanism, don’t worry, you can choose to manually ping Google blogsearch and update them about your blog.

The URL to manually ping Google blogsearch is http://blogsearch.google.com/ping

Just make sure that you submit your feed URL as and when you update your blogs!
